Wyrmslife Crystals in Dragon’s Dogma 2 aren’t just a pretty face; these elusive crystals, necessary for various upgrades and quests, can be farmed through different methods. This guide tells you how to get Wyrmslife Crystals in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

How to Farm Wyrmslife Crystals in Dragon’s Dogma 2 (DD2)

Collecting Crystals from the Dragon

Wyrmslife Crystals in DD2 are unique materials that you can only obtain by taking down dragons. However, encounters with these beasts, drakes, and their lesser counterparts are few and far between in the vast lands of Gransys. So, what’s an Arisen to do? The answer lies in hiring a Forager Pawn with a keen eye for Dragon Scales.

Forager Pawns are invaluable allies that can detect and label various materials on your map. After enlisting a Pawn equipped with the Forager Specialization, keep an eye out for locations marked with Dragon Scale materials. Where there’s a Dragon Scale, there’s likely a dragon or its kin lurking about. While these spots might not always guarantee a dragon, they significantly increase your chances of encountering one.

Party fight with the dragon to get Wyrmslife Crystals

For those eager to venture forth and face these mythical beasts, here are the top locations I’ve scouted where dragons and drakes frequent:

  • Dragonsbreath Tower, Battahl
  • Ancient Battleground, Vermund
  • Forgotten Ruins, Battahl

The Dragonsbreath Tower, for instance, is a notorious lair where a lesser dragon appears most often, and you will receive a maximum of 15 Wyrmslife Crystals after killing one. Remember, encountering these enemies is no small feat. So, you and your team need to have at least level 35 before attempting to challenge them. Ensure your party is well-rounded and prepared for a tough fight.

Purchasing Wyrmslife Crystals from Merchant

There is another way to get these crystals which is not the best and quick approach but enough to add some to your inventory. You can find a merchant northeast of Vernworth. The problem is she doesn’t show up all the time, but when she does, she’s got the Wyrmslife Crystals for sale. But she has a very high demand for these items, you need to pay 5,000 Gold to get one piece. The new stock in the shop gets added every two weeks in the game. It’s not the quickest way to get your hands on them, especially since you never really know when she’ll pop up. But if you’re not keen on fighting dragons, she’s your go-to source of WLCs.

There’s still one more cunning way to extract even more Wyrmslife Crystals from these creatures. You can use the Thief Skills: Bump and Lift, and Pilfer. These skills allow you to steal additional items from enemies during combat. Bump and Lift can snatch items as you land attacks, whereas Pilfer works best when enemies are off-balance. Using these abilities can significantly increase your Wyrmslife Crystal haul in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Once you’ve enough Wyrmslife Crystals in inventory, you can go to The Dragonforged to level up your equipment or can also exchange them for valuable items.
