Wolf Maiden is a challenging World Boss in Where Winds Meet, located at the far edge of Desperation Ridge. She only appears at night and is backed by a small army of wolves. She doesn’t have the bloated HP of some other World Bosses, but her aggression and parry-heavy kit make her a serious skill check. Here’s how to reach Wolf Maiden boss, defeat her, and complete her follow-up side quest to earn the unique mask.
Where Winds Meet Wolf Maiden Location

You can find Wolf Maiden in Kaifeng’s Desperation Ridge, all the way on the southeastern cliff line. She only shows up at night, so either wait or change the in-game time before entering the arena.
If it’s your first time there, look for two NPCs near the Boundary Stone, one of them named Yang Dian. Talking to them to start a short side activity where you help deal with the wolf pack overrunning the hill. Follow the path upward by clearing waves as they spawn. The trail leads you to a small alcove where you fight Wolf Maiden.
How to Beat Wolf Maiden in Where Winds Meet
At the start, Wolf Maiden will hang out in the trees and doesn’t come down on the spot, but instead she sics wolves on you. These wolves use telegraphed red-eye lunges, which you should parry. Take this wolves group fight as a warm-up parry practice before you face the deadly boss. Once you have killed some waves, she will jump into the arena, and the real duel begins.

Stay close to Wolf Maiden to counter his moveset. If you back up and create some distance, it gives her time to leap, spin, or climb back to the trees. Play right in her face and let your parries do the work. Her core chain is a horizontal fast left–right flurry, followed by two slow, heavy punches. The moves shift between fast and slow is what can make things hard—don’t mash parry. Watch her shoulders: fast attacks snap forward instantly, while the heavy hits have a brief charge.

Whenever she flashes red, she comes at you from a distance and performs a quick jump attack. A clean parry for this drops a huge chunk of her Qi and saves you from a one-shot end, especially if you’ve already taken chip damage from wolves.

Wolf Maiden’s yellow flash pounce is a lunge slash when she drops low and springs forward with her claw gauntlets extended to rake across your torso in one sweep. The claws give her extra reach, so dodge sideways at the last moment to avoid the damage.
Second Phase

When Wolf Maiden is down to half health bar, she’ll leap back into the tree. Her eyes turn red, and her moves become more deadly in this phase. She switches her strikes between dive pounces directly at you, a spin-kick uppercut before landing, and another delayed heavy before she goes to her quick combo-hit. Dive attacks are easy to dodge, which gives you a window for stagger skills. Keep pushing until her Qi breaks, and once she is exhausted, execute and finish the fight by defeating her.

How to Get the Wolf Maiden Mask (Silver Fangs)
The Silver Fangs mask can be earned after the boss fight by completing a follow-up side quest. Beat Wolf Maiden, what you probably have already done after reading the above boss fight guide. You should have the Useless Lock in your inventory. It’s found in Underground Kaifeng from the vendor Tu Shanyun (Twilight Remedies) shop on the main underground street. There is the interactable item right beside her, which contains the Useless Lock.
Once you have the required item, return to Wolf Maiden’s arena and advance the time by two in-game days. Look to the left of the arena to find wolves resting near a cracked wall. Talk to Wolf Maiden and use the Useless Lock when the prompt appears, which ends the Wolf Maiden quest, and you will receive the Silver Fangs mask.
