You may find it hard to locate this guy.

By GamesRecon

The world of Dragon’s Dogma 2 is filled with mystery, adventure, and quite a bit of castle wandering—especially if you’re trying to locate someone as elusive as Sven in the bustling town of Vernworth. If you find yourself scratching your head, wondering where this character hides away, you’re not alone. Finding Sven’s quarters in Dragon’s Dogma 2 can be a bit of a challenge without a direct quest marker or map indication. But don’t worry, here’s your handy guide to finding Sven and advancing your journey in the game.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Sven’s Chambers Location

Talking with Mosse in Vernworth

Sven is a prince with his own set of secrets and plays a crucial role in several quests within Dragon’s Dogma 2. Early on, your journey in Vernworth will lead you to an encounter with a man named Mosse. This NPC, seemingly out of nowhere, will tell you to meet with Sven in his “quarters.”

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Sven’s Chambers Map Location

Sven’s quarters are strategically located in Vernworth Castle but aren’t marked on any map, making them somewhat tricky to find. Here’s how you can get to him:

  • Head to Vernworth Castle: This is in the Royal Quarter of Vernworth. The castle is hard to miss, given its imposing structure and central location.
  • Enter Through the Main Entrance: Once at the castle, use the main door to enter. This is crucial because sneaking in or using side entrances can complicate your entry (and might unnecessarily provoke the castle guards).

Going to second floor with staircase.

  • Find the Staircase: Immediately upon entering, look to your left where you’ll see an open doorway leading to a hallway. Enter here and you’ll find the staircase – take these stairs up to the second floor.
  • Walk to the West End: After reaching the second floor, proceed straight down the hallway until you reach the end. Sven’s quarters are the last room in this hallway, furthest to the west past the Guest Chambers.

Here’s a friendly tip for you, it will be best to avoid visiting the castle at night. Nighttime visits can trigger negative interactions with the guards who are less tolerant after dark. While it’s not strictly necessary, having the Marcher’s Armor set can make your exploration of the castle less stressful. The guards tend to ignore much of your wanderings when you’re well-dressed. In my experience, the enemies don’t seem too bothered regardless of your attire.

Once you find Sven and speak with him, he’ll send you on the quest A Veil of Gossamer Clouds. This quest leads you to Bakbattahl where your task is to uncover more about Disa’s sinister plot. Completing this quest brings more rewards and nicely advances the storyline.
