Gravity Integrator is the standout addition from the Once Human‘s Stellar Resonance update. More than a typical blueprint, it introduces a new loop that combines farming, timed defense, and group progress through the Global Research system. With the right use, it can be a steady source of Stellar Resonance rewards and a tense combat challenge that breaks up the usual survival grind. Here’s how to unlock the Gravity Integrator and how to use it.
How to Unlock the Once Human Gravity Integrator
Gravity Integrator blueprint in Once Human drops when you open a Star Advent Loot Crate. Once unlocked, you’ll need either an Intermediate or Advanced Supplies Workbench to build the device. It isn’t a permanent piece of gear but is a deployable tool. Once crafted, you can carry the Gravity Integrator with you and choose where to set it up in the open world to use it.
When deployed, the Integrator launches upward into the sky and continuously collects Stellar Core Gravity Samples until it operates. The entire process runs on a timer:
- Every activation lasts 10 minutes.
- Every 50 meters of altitude it climbs unlocks a reward tier, with up to five tiers total.
- The higher it climbs before being destroyed, the better your payout.
But Deviants are drawn to it like moths to a flame. You’ll have to defend the device as it rises, or risk it being torn apart by Deviants before getting to its top tier. If it destroys early, you still keep rewards based on how high it got, but the Gravity Integrator will not ascend more; you’ll feel the sting of missing out on the juicy top-tier drops.
How to Defend the Gravity Integrator in Once Human
The Integrator is a mini-event you trigger on demand, and the defense phase is where things can be chaotic. Here are a few tips on defending the Integrator:
- Go in geared: treat it like a raid-lite. Blood rounds, strong rifles, or explosive traps go a long way when mobs swarm.
- Play with friends: Soloing is possible, but the waves scale fast, and splitting aggro between multiple players makes it easier.
- Position Correctly: Setting up near natural choke points or elevated ground makes defense easy. If you drop it in the middle of flatland, you’re asking for pain.
Rewards
Every successful run gives you Stellar Core Gravity Samples, which link directly to the Stellar Resonance event. These samples fuel your rewards and the larger Global Research system, which receives all players’ contributions. The shared progress means if your region slacks off, Deviants grow strong, and some bonuses vanish after five days. Active servers, on the other hand, snowball benefits — high reward caps, quick unlocks, and good farming.
