Yellow Harvest is an optional but very rewarding area that you can explore in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and it hides far more than it looks from the world map. This golden forest contains multiple weapons, Pictos, journals, cosmetics, and two boss fights. The path through the zone loops around several times, which makes it easy to miss items if you rush toward the final boss.
You get access to this location during Act 1 after you’ve unlocked Esquie, but venturing inside right away can mean certain death. The area transition will flash a red “Danger!” warning when your party is underleveled. You can try your luck early on if brave enough, but I’d wait until you clear Stone Wave Cliffs and enter Act 2 at around Level 20 before setting foot inside. Yellow Harvest Walkthrough
Head northwest from the Hidden Gestral Arena, right above the first Gestral Beach. Use Esquie to break through the jagged, rocky outcrops blocking the path and reach the Yellow Harvest entrance.
Yellow Harvest Entrance
Once inside, there’s a Rest Point Flag right at the entrance. Hug the rock wall near the blue lamp and look for handholds you might miss. Use them to climb up, drop down the other side, and continue the path forward.
A Gestral will be posted up here staring at a massive Nevron far away; interact with it for some world-building flavor. Keep moving through the tunnel and into the open field beyond.
Gaulteram Weapon
Two Gaults patrol the first clearing. Take them out to receive the Gaulteram, a weapon for Gustave and Verso. Two more Gaults, with the coral-like overgrowth on their shoulders, will be waiting further ahead. Defeat them and climb the ledge in the back right corner to reach the first fork on the way.

Colour of Lumina (First One)
At the first fork, follow the left slope and grapple up to get to the upper fork. Go left all the way to the end and drop down to a small lower ledge to get a Colour of Lumina from there. Kill an enemy wandering there, loop back to the initial clearing, and then climb back up the grapple point.
Harvester’s Hollow Expedition Flag
Back at the second fork, take the right path this time and pick the Chroma on the ground at the edge of the cliff. Drop off that cliff, and the Harvester’s Hollow Rest Point Flag is just below there. It’s a big, round area with a water pool in the middle and some Jar enemies walking around. Most of the area’s collectibles are concentrated here.
Young Boy NPC
From the Harvester’s Hollow flag, go left and defeat the enemy ahead. Use the grapple point on the left wall to get to the upper cliff. Walk a little to find the Young Boy standing ahead. He won’t talk to you here — this is part of a long multi-location questline. Drop down the other side, and you will be back on the lower path.
Death Bomb Pictos
Stay on the right side of the slope leading up (don’t go up yet). Follow the wall right until a narrow passage with a small tent, and you’ll find the blue glowing Death Bomb Pictos beside the tent.

Expedition 38 Journal
Go up the slope and into the open area lit by blue lamps. The Journal — Expedition 38 (Genevieve’s journal) is found on the ground near two fallen Expeditioners.
Pinabby the Merchant
Don’t drop down from the lamp cliff’s edge. Instead, look up a little right in front to see a grapple point and use it to reach the floating island where Pinabby the Gestral Merchant has set up the shop.

You can fight Pinabby to unlock the Teamwork Pictos in his stock, same as the Gestral Village merchant.

Once done with the merchant, you can only drop off the floating island to continue because there’s no way to grapple back up.
Expedition 44 Journal
Past the lamps slope (don’t go up it this time), continue along the path through the grass. You will come across the Expedition 44 Journal (Nicolas’s journal) surrounded by Nevron corpses. Kill the enemy lurking there and get the journal.
Mime Fight — Braid Haircut for Maelle
Right next to the Expedition 44 Journal, check the nearby wall for a crawl space. Squeeze through to find a Mime on the other side. The Mime is tankier than the normal enemies in Yellow Harvest, so come prepared. Defeat it to receive the Braid Haircut cosmetic for Maelle.
Potierim Weapon (Lune)
In the same area, you can kill three Jar enemies that roam the open water section to get the Potierim weapon for Lune.

Colour of Lumina (Second One)
Head up the central ramp toward the water and grapple across. Climb the wall structures and follow the path up. Before going to the next flag, find a ledge on the southwestern end of a building you can grapple to. Drop down from there onto a balcony to collect a second Colour of Lumina.
Yellow Spire Wrecks Expedition Flag
Continue up the mountain path from the balcony, and you’ll reach the Yellow Spire Wrecks Rest Point Flag. Two paths split off from here.
Expedition 59 Journal
From the flag, go left into the cave, and you will find the Expedition 59 Journal (Julien’s journal) in front of the big glowing red rocks, next to some fallen Expeditioners.
Yellow Harvest Boss — Glaise
Go right from the Yellow Spire Wrecks flag and enter the open field to trigger a cutscene introducing Glaise.
Glaise Boss Details:

Glaise hits hard enough to punish sloppy play, but with the clean parries, the fight will be very manageable. Learn a few of his attack patterns, and you can easily defeat Glaise.

Chromatic Orphelin Boss Fight (Optional)
After you beat Glaise, skip the stone archway exit. Turn around and see the right side of the arena for small white ledges. Climb them up and drop into the hidden cave below. Move deep into the cave until you find three Nevrons near a hot air balloon bathed in red light. Walk toward them to start the Chromatic Orphelin boss fight, a triple Orphelin encounter with highly increased stats.
The Chromatic Orphelin soaks damage like a sponge. It attacks multiple times each turn and can overwhelm your entire party fast. At Level 21 or 22 on expert mode, you can win this fight. You need great parry discipline and precise dodge timing to survive.
