A Flower Wish is a Wandering Tales side quest in Where Winds Meet that takes place in the Qinghe region. You might find it hard to complete because the rare flower you need to find has no quest marker, just a short conversation and a vague hint about it by the shore. How to Complete A Flower Wish in Where Winds Meet
Teleport to the Floral Expanse Beyond Boundary Stone in the northern end of Qinghe and find Yang Xin near the landmark, surrounded by the red blooms on the shoreline.
She will talk about the Maha Manjusaka, a sacred bloom she believes can carry wishes to the Buddha, and asks you to help retrieve it.
Maha Manjusaka Flower Location
After speaking with Yang Xin, look north from her place. You’ll see rocky cliffs running along the opposite shoreline. Make your way to the northern end of the cliffs where a large tree stands out against the rocks.
Just to the right of that tree, look closely at the boulders pressed against the cliff wall. The Maha Manjusaka is a large red flower wedged low between rocks. It blends into the surrounding vegetation, which is why players often run past it multiple times. I’ve marked the location on the above image; search around the large boulders in that area.
Interact with the flower to collect it. If you’ve explored this area before, you might have already collected the blossom. The quest won’t prompt you again if it’s already picked, so check your inventory first before you go searching.
Return the Flower to Yang Xin
Head back to Yang Xin’s original location by the water near the Waystone. Speak with her and hand over the Maha Manjusaka to complete the Wandering Tale.
Note: Yang Xin only appears during daytime. If you visit at night, she won’t be there, open the clock menu and advance in-game time to morning or daytime to find her among the flowers.

For helping Yang Xin with her wish, you’ll walk away with these:

Not a bad haul for what’s essentially a fetch quest, and the story itself is kind of touching if you pay attention to the dialogue. Yang Xin hopes that by offering this special flower to the Buddha Statue at Floral Expanse Beyond, her wish might come true. The quest shouldn’t take you more than a few minutes once you know where to look.
