Where to Find Laboratory Reagents in ARC Raiders

The rare bottles every Raider needs but never finds when it matters.

Laboratory Reagents are one of the rarer Medical materials in ARC Raiders, and you’ll need three of them to upgrade to Explosives Station 3, which you have to do to craft Heavy Grenades and Wolfpacks. But these bottles seem to vanish the second you need them, and most Medical zones split their loot pools, which makes them much harder to find than they should be. After hours of aimless wandering, I’ve come up with the locations that almost always spawn Laboratory Reagents, so you don’t have to wonder like me between empty cabinets and quickly secure the upgrades you need.

Where to Farm Laboratory Reagents in ARC Raiders

ARC Raiders Laboratory Reagents

Laboratory Reagents belong to the same loot pool as items like Cracked Bioscanners, Rusted Shut Medical Kits, and Antiseptic. They spawn inside cabinets, drawers, med crates, and sometimes lie on counters or chemical racks. They can drop almost anywhere marked with the Medical icon, but most such locations share their loot with other categories, which waters down the chances.

For the best farm rate, head to POIs where Medical loot is either dominant or not diluted by a second category. Three areas stand out far above the rest: the Buried City Hospital, the Testing Annex in Dam Battlegrounds, and a very productive medical wing inside Spaceport’s Arrival Building.

Buried City — Hospital, Research & Plaza Pharmacies

In terms of the highest possible drop rate, Hospital is the best Laboratory Reagents farm location in ARC Raiders. It’s the only large POI dedicated to Medical items, and because the loot table isn’t split, you see far more Laboratory Reagents rolls per run. The majority of items mostly spawn on the upper floors, especially around the treatment rooms and the more cluttered hallways, where loose items are often on metal carts and bedside counters. You do need to open every cabinet and crate you pass, because the chemical bottles mix between the surface and containers.

The only drawback to searching through the Hospital is the foot traffic. Even players who don’t need reagents pay a visit for Bioscanners, Rusted Kits, and general med supplies, so the place gets empty in no time. Solo runs are better to get these materials, but squads treat this building like a warzone, so expect noise if you get here in peak times. The extraction point is right outside, which is a big help to extract—it’s easy to go top floors, grab what you need, and leave before anyone spills your blood.

If the Hospital has been looted or camped, the Research building southeast of it is the next good place. It’s quiet, has multiple floors to loot, and Medical containers can be found evenly throughout the complex. The drops aren’t as attractive as the Hospital, but the building rarely sees a crowd, which gives you time to sweep it from top to bottom. Furthermore, Buried City has two small pharmacies—one in Plaza Rosa and another near Piazza Arbusto. You will find shelves and cabinets there that can spawn Laboratory Reagents, mainly on the upper levels.

Dam Battlegrounds — Testing Annex

Saving yourself from Buried City’s population, the Testing Annex is the most consistent reagent farm on the Dam. It contains high-level loot, and most of the Medical-related containers sit on the upper floor in the back rooms. Shelves and research benches mostly have loose medical objects, so you’ll want to scan every table. The Annex also drops a lot of other Medical items, including Bioscanners and Rusted Kits. Unlike the Hospital, the Raiders rarely rush this POI early in the run, so another safe spot for solo. Once done stuffing goodies in the backpack, head to the nearest elevator to extract in one piece, or better yet, place important items in a safe pocket.

Spaceport — Arrival Building’s Medical Wing

Spaceport map doesn’t have any dedicated Medical POI, which lets many players think there’s nowhere to find Laboratory Reagents here. However, the lower wing of the Arrival Building has two Medical labs you will find packed with the right container types on every run. Reagent bottles randomly spawn inside the cabinets in the rear lab room, though loose spawns also show up on desk clusters and diagnostic stands. As hardly anyone knows about this area, it stays quiet stocked even late into a raid. If you’re struggling with Buried City or Dam, this is the most overlooked guaranteed item location.

Stella Montis — Medical Research

If you want reagents fast and aren’t afraid of dying for them, the Medical Research site on Stella Montis is packed with Medical shelves and chemistry stands. The danger is the ARCs that lurk around, so it’s one of the most hostile points of interest in the mode, and surviving long enough to extract with loot is the real challenge. Spawn near the lower cliffs, sprint straight in, sweep the racks for chemical bottles, and gamble on a fast lift extraction.
