Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Water Wheel Puzzle Solution

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Water Wheel Puzzle

Once you walk into this room, you will see a massive wheel smack in the middle, with a couple of smaller cogwheels next to it on its right. Your goal is to get that water flowing to move these wheels and reach this metal handle up on the top right side of the wall.

Jumping onto the metal handle on the left wall

First, you need to jump onto the bottom stick sticking out of the giant wheel. You’ll notice arrows pointing to the next stick on your left – that’s your cue on where to jump next. Once you jump onto this left stick, you will see there’s a metal handle on the wall to your left. Get onto it, and you’ll get a great view of two handles up on the ceiling above the wheel – one on the right and the other on the left.

Turning the lever handle on ceiling with the blades

From the handle, jump towards the ceiling lever and use to blade to turn the handle. You’ll see water gushing out like a mini waterfall from the wheel. Hop down and step on the pressure plate on the left. This gets the water flowing and the giant wheel turns a bit. Next, you gotta do your acrobat thing again – jump onto the next stick on the right side of the wheel. Use those blades again to turn the other handle up on the ceiling.

Rotate the wheel to get the sticks at correct positions

After that little workout, go over to the square switch on the right and let the water flow – this will turn the wheel even more. Think of the wheel like a clock. You’re aiming to get the sticks to the 3 o’clock and 6 o’clock positions. Might take a bit of stepping on and off the pressure plate to get it just right. As you fiddle with the pressure plate switches, both the giant wheel and the cogwheels start to move.

Pulling down the metal handle on the right side wall.

Now, grab the stick at the bottom, leap to the next one on the right, and then onto the stick on the smaller cogwheel. Jump to the other metal handle on the right end of the wall.

Door to enter the Hyrcanian Forest is opened.

Pull it down, and the door opens. With that, the Water Wheel Puzzle in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be complete, and you’re treated to a cutscene. The door below which was closed before swings open, and you can head into the Hyrcanian Forest and the quest for Menolias continues.
