Want to expand your empire in Schedule 1 without blowing your entire stash of cash? The Stash and Dash Storage Unit is the perfect upgrade you need. Introduced with the May 8 patch, this small but valuable property is now available in the full game after debuting in the beta. It’s easily the most affordable real estate on the block and while it won’t rival the Docks or Barn in size, its central location and utility make it a solid pickup. Here’s how to find Stash and Dash Storage Unit, unlock it, and make the most of this street-smart storage solution.
Schedule 1 Stash and Dash Location
The game doesn’t exactly tell or give markers for the Stash and Dash storage unit location. The building is right under the overpass just across from Taco Ticklers, a popular in-game reference point. Looking at the map, it’s right near the Parking Garage, beside the Sauerkraut Supreme store, and very close to Dan’s Hardware, making it super convenient for quick supply runs.
Once you buy it, the building becomes marked on your map, and you’ll find your designated unit behind a distinct green door. Ignore the gray doors as those belong to other NPCs in the game’s world. Two NPCs, Geraldine and Greg, live nearby in the same unit block. They might become regular customers, so don’t be shy to drop off some product when you swing by.
How to Buy the Stash and Dash in Schedule 1
You’ll need to head over to Ray’s Realty to make the purchase. His real estate office is in the southeast of Northtown, right next to Blueball’s Boutique and near the Post Office. You can only visit during business hours which are 6 AM to 6 PM in-game time.
Inside, speak to Ray and choose the “I’d like to purchase a property” option. The Stash and Dash will be one of the first listings available. It’ll cost you $5,000—a steal compared to the hefty prices of the Docks Warehouse or The Barn. This low cost makes it an ideal first expansion for new players or a nice auxiliary space for veterans who require extra storage or a special operation spot.
How to Use the Stash and Dash Storage Unit
The unit is compact but very useful, and that’s what you will get inside:
- One Loading Bay: You can bring in supplies and send out goods, although it’s limited to basic volume.
- Single Worker Slot: You can only staff one employee here, so efficiency matters.
- Interior Setup: It’s a single room with a narrow extension. You’re not fitting a full industrial setup here, but can run a tidy, productive mini-op.
To use in early-game, set up a small grow space with 6–8 MJ plants, a packaging table, and a mixer. When using it later on in the game, turn it into a storage dump for overflow product, or use it to specialize in mixing certain product variants to feed into your larger operations elsewhere.
The Stash and Dash is unique because of its location and utility. Unlike properties that are off in the boonies, Stash and Dash storage unit is situated right in the middle of key shops and routes. Further is its proximity to Dan’s Hardware, you only need a quick jog to stock up again. It’s also a safe overnight resting spot; add a bed, and you get a crash pad for nighttime selling sprees. You’ll avoid long treks home (and run-ins with the cops).
Also, with newer updates, Handlers can now be assigned from a delivery van directly to storage racks inside the unit. This opens up some good automation and logistical options for players who like to optimize every step. Furthermore, the latest 0.3.5 update of Schedule 1 has also brought a new retro Jukebox other than the new Storage Unit.
