Queen’s Egg is a tricky delivery quest (Wish) in Hollow Knight: Silksong. It takes place in Bellhart with the courier brothers Tipp and Pill giving Hornet a fragile Egg that she needs to deliver to Styx in Sinner’s Road. The challenge is to keep the Egg safe the whole way, since every hit you take puts it at risk of breaking. This guide walks you through how to start the Queen’s Egg quest in Silksong, the best way to make the delivery, and what you get once the Egg finally reaches its destination.
Hollow Knight: Silksong Queen’s Egg Walkthrough
To unlock Queen’s Egg Delivery Wish, you have to deal with the courier brothers. They only hand out the item after you’ve done some legwork:
- Finish My Missing Courier (your first encounter with Tipp after Bellhart is freed).
- Complete My Missing Brother to rescue Pill and reunite the pair.
- Do at least one other delivery Wish to prove you can handle the job.
Once that’s done, head back to their shop in Bellhart, and they’ll let you take on the Queen’s Egg delivery.
When you accept the Wish, Tipp and Pill hand you the egg, which is a delicate container holding a baby Silkeater queen. It can’t take much abuse and has four hit points of its own. Every time Hornet gets smacked, the Egg takes damage too, and if you lose all four, it shatters, forcing you to restart the entire delivery.
There’s no time limit so you can take things slow, but your focus should be to avoid damage, and that’s why this quest is a little tricky. Make sure to have the Faydown Cloak Double Jump, and Clawline Grappling Hook because you can’t keep your journey without them.
Go to Sinner’s Road
From Bellhart, move east into Greymoor to the right and avoid getting distracted by side paths. You’ll reach a wind current that lifts you upward. Go into it to climb to the next floor, look for a hole above the prison cells, and pull yourself up through it. From here, the path narrows into a series of chambers. Keep moving right until you find the Halfway Home Elevator.
Use the Halfway Home Elevator
Go up through the elevator, then leap off to the right platform. You’ll be juggling balloons and tricky ledges to climb higher, and eventually come to the hidden entrance to Sinner’s Road. If you are in Act 3, many platforms and balloons will not be here, and enemies here will be buffed with a dark aura that makes them fire off extra attacks. It’s still doable, but you’ll need tight platforming and patience.
Cross Sinner’s Road and Deliver Quest’s Egg
Sinner’s Road is a maze of iron cages and dangerous enemies. From the entrance, push right until you reach the central prison area. Climb the vertical shafts and cells; you’ll need to scale upwards until you reach a top exit. Once on the upper floor, keep moving right. Don’t drop down into Bilewater and follow the upper-right path. Eventually, the path slopes downward. Take it, and you’ll reach Styx’s chamber at the far lower-right terminus. Hand over the Queen’s Egg and complete the Wish in Silksong.
Rewards for Queen’s Egg
This quest has no real rewards, you will earn 120 Rosaries but that’s pocket change compared to other ways to obtain it. The only reward considered here is that once the Egg is delivered, Styx’s upgrade expands their Silkeater nest, which means you can raise and get more Silkeaters ahead.
