ARC Raiders usually gives you a good starting point for its missions, but “Keeping an Eye Out” is a curveball. Celeste sends you to look for Bilguun near a collapsed highway by the Barren Clearing on Blue Gate, but if you spend your raid wandering around the Clearing, you’ll return empty handed. The quest description is misleading; the place you want to visit is very close to the Adorned Wreckage.
With success after too long hugging the wrong concrete pillars, I’ve mapped out the actual path to Bilguun’s hideout so you can get in straight, do what you need to do, and exit before the machines pin you down. Since you don’t need to extract any physical loot, you can progress this with a budget loadout, though I’d recommend bringing a few medkits for the inevitable fall damage from the jump. Here’s how to find the right highway and get inside Bilguun’s shelter to complete the Keeping an Eye Out quest.
ARC Raiders Keeping an Eye Out Walkthrough
Celeste sends you to track down a guy named Bilguun, a Topside regular who used to check in with Speranza, but she hasn’t heard from him lately. Celeste wants you to pay a visit to his place and see if he is okay.
Head to the southwest part of Blue Gate, where the Barren Clearing and Highway Collapse POI are located near each other. Find the stretch of collapsed highway that runs through the trees northwest of the Highway Collapse marker, mainly southwest of the Forest Airshaft extraction point. Once you get close enough, the quest will update, which confirms that you’re in the right spot.
Bilguun’s shelter is found underneath the collapsed highway, marked by an upside-down stop sign. To get inside, walk up the collapsed road slope toward the elevated area. It looks steep, but you can scale it by angling your camera down and walking forward. Move all the way to the end of the higher destroyed highway and ride the zipline down to the ground.
Now turn around and look back up at the underside of the highway. You’ll see the stop sign that marks Bilguun’s hideout entrance. Take the zipline back up, but jump off just before you reach the top so you can land inside the small alcove. It might take a couple of attempts, so the healing items come in handy. Alternatively, you can ride all the way to the top, drop off the highway edge, and grab the ledge to pull yourself into the room.
Once inside the shelter, walk to the back wall and interact with the prompt to photograph the mural, an Eye painted on the wall that tells Celeste everything she needs to know about Bilguun’s status. That concludes the ARC Raiders’ Keeping an Eye Out quest.
The Forest Airshaft extraction is right next door. Drop down from the hideout, sprint to the extract, and return to Speranza. Turn the quest in with Celeste, and you’ll receive five Pulse Mines and one Flame Spray as rewards.
