All Exotic Weapons in Fortnite Override (Chapter 7 Season 4)

Want an Exotic? Here’s where Fortnite is hiding the good stuff.

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override currently has five Exotic weapons in the loot pool, and none of them is available from the Shop. You have to do certain high-value activities, then hope the random Exotic roll gives you the weapon you actually wanted. It is very Fortnite. All five can be obtained from the same Exotic reward sources, so there’s no fixed drop spot for any gun. Here’s how to get every Exotic gun in Fortnite’s Chapter 7 Season 4.

How to Get Exotic Weapons in Fortnite Override

Exotic weapons do not drop from static floor spawns or normal chests. Instead, they share a random drop pool linked to specific map objectives across the island. The weapon is random, so completing one doesn’t guarantee the gun you have in mind.

Fortnite Override Duck Race Minigame

Duck Race Minigame

The Duck Race is north of Heatwave Harbor. Start the race and let the ducks make their way to the finish. Once they complete the run, an Exotic can drop near the end of the event. This is probably the funniest Exotic farming method in the season because you are gambling for a powerful weapon while supervising a pack of rubber ducks. However, this race won’t guarantee an Exotic. You can complete it and get nothing from the roll.

Mega Maze Vault

The Mega Maze Vault takes a little more work but gives you another chance at the same Exotic pool. Shoot the moving Braziers around the maze to get the Vault Key. Take the key back to the central compound and use it to open the vault. Inside, one of the Rare Chests can spawn an Exotic weapon. I like this activity when my squad is nearby because you’re getting ordinary loot while working for the Exotic instead of doing a separate side quest.

Tetris Tower Rift Anomaly

Tetris Tower can appear at a random location during a match. Once you find it, climb to the top and interact with the Rift Anomaly for random rewards, probably an Exotic weapon if the RNG gods are happy with you. The tower can change position at any time, but it gives you another way to hunt guns without committing your drop to one fixed point.

All Exotic Weapons in Fortnite Override

Exotic Weapon Main Perk Best Playstyle
Overclocked 8-Bit Shotgun Life-steal on hit (Restores HP and Shield) Close-quarters aggressive dueling.
Exotic Rebecca’s Guns Ricochet rounds with explosive detonation Room clearing / Turtling counter. Lets you attack around corners and create pressure from awkward angles.
Accelerant Drum Gun Fire rate and movement speed increase while holding the trigger Hyper-aggressive tracking and spray. Gets more dangerous the longer you maintain fire.
Balloon Popper Assault Rifle Floats targets with balloons + drops HP orbs on kill Adds disruption and team sustain to medium-range fights.
Overpowered Shotgun Stacks damage per hit (Resets on a missed shot) Precision close-range box fight. Rewards accurate follow-up shots and punishes panic firing.

Overclocked 8-Bit Shotgun

It’s an ultimate clutch weapon for aggressive box-fighting. Carrying an unusually generous 10-round magazine, this modified version of the 8-Bit Shotgun provides passive siphon on hit when executing trick shots (slide, air-jump, or mantle into a shot). A well-executed hit replenishes chunks of your effective HP during the fight, letting you trade aggressively without burning shield pots.

As someone used to trading blows up close in Marvel Rivals on heroes like Wolverine or Punisher, this weapon makes you nearly unbeatable in a 1v1 unless you get one pumped.

  • Base Damage: 108
  • Fire Rate: 1.4
  • Magazine Size: 10
  • Reload Time: 2.52s

Exotic Rebecca’s Guns

Chaotic and oppressive in close-to-medium quarters, this modified akimbo dual pistol converts solid terrain into a weapon. Bullets bounce off walls and surfaces, and trigger explosive bursts on impact.

If an enemy boxes up or tries hiding behind hard cover in a building, you do not need to push through their wall. Spraying into tight corridors or choke points lets the ricochets auto-target enemy positions with splash damage, punishing defensive play on the spot. It completely invalidates usual hard cover turtling.

Accelerant Drum Gun

A run-and-gun dream weapon. When you hold down the trigger, it increases the gun’s rate of fire and your movement speed. That speed turns sideways strafing and closing gaps into a nightmare for opponents who are trying to track your pace.

If you catch someone in the open, the increased fire rate deletes their Overshield and stamina bar before they can react. It plays like a high-mobility tracker build, rewarding aggressive players who push hard and refuse to break pressure.

Balloon Popper Assault Rifle

This rifle turns mid-range fights into shooting fish in a barrel. When you strike, it straps balloons to your target that lift them off the ground and force them into predictable airborne trajectories. It ruins their crosshair placement, removes their cover, and turns them into clay pigeons.

Once eliminated, enemies drop healing orbs that refill your health bar. Balloon Popper keeps enemies pinned down while giving your squad consistent healing during long battles.

Overpowered Shotgun

Designed strictly for players who do not miss. The Overpowered Shotgun applies a stacking damage multiplier for every hit you land on an opponent, so two or three consecutive shots will shred through full shields in seconds. However, missing even a single pellet resets the streak back to base damage. You must keep your crosshair steady and time shots well with trigger discipline.
