If you’ve just gotten your boots dirty topside in ARC Raiders, Shani has likely already called in a favor. The storm wrecked a lot of infrastructure, and she needs someone (that’s you) to help get the radar network back online, and that’s done in “Off The Radar” quest — a short but tense job that sends you out to repair an antenna at one of the game’s Field Depots.
It’s a simple objective on paper: visit a depot, fix the antenna, done. But only when you know where to find Field Depots in ARC Raiders and how to get it done safely.
ARC Raiders Off The Radar Quest Objectives

Off The Radar has only two simple objectives to complete, unless you get to the exact location:
- Visit a Field Depot.
- Repair the antenna on its roof.
That’s it. You don’t have to extract afterward or fight any boss-level threats. Once the antenna is fixed to reactivate the broadcast, the quest auto-completes, and Shani will confirm it’s done. You’ll also pick up a couple of handy rewards, which we have listed at the quest’s end.
How to Find Field Depots in ARC Raiders

Shani doesn’t give you much to go on when it comes to locating Field Depots, and that’s tripped up plenty of players. Field Depots are small, boxy metal structures with an antenna on the roof and a scrap of blue tarpaulin hanging off the side. On your map, they’re marked by a small rectangular building icon with a chimney sticking out to one side.
You’ll find many Field Depots all over the Dam Battlegrounds and Rust Belt regions, but a few are far easier (and safer) to reach than others.
Here are the key spots to look for:
- East of the Power Generation Complex, just southwest of Raider Outpost East.
- Between Water Treatment Control and Research & Administration, southeast of the Control Tower.
- On the Hydroponic Dome Complex’s west section, this one is risky due to heavy raider activity.
- South Swamp Outpost, west of Water Treatment — quiet area, easy approach.
- Red Lakes Balcony, northwest of Testing Annex and east of Research & Administration.
You only need to visit one of them, so choose whichever is nearest or is the safest place with no players or bots to crack down based on your spawn.
Field Depots near Power Generation and Hydroponic Dome are PvP hot zones. Raiders love these areas because of the loot amount, so unless you’re itching for a firefight, it’s best to avoid them. If you want the easy run, head for the southern depot west of Water Treatment. The thick woods and natural cover make it easy to move undetected, and you’ll have multiple extracts nearby if things get dicey.
For a fast in-and-out route, the Field Depot between the Control Tower and Testing Annex is also a good place. It sits in a sort of dead zone between two high-traffic areas, meaning everyone else is usually too busy shooting each other to notice someone else is on the closer roof fixing the antenna.
How to Get to the Roof and Repair the Antenna

Once you’ve made it to a Field Depot, first make sure the area is secure, or do it if not. The building layout is always the same — a single-level rectangular structure with a small ladder on one side.
- Find the ladder along the outer wall. If you don’t see it right away, circle the building to find it.
- Climb up to the roof, keep an eye out for wandering raiders or nearby drones.
- Approach the antenna — a tall, metal radar dish with a control panel near its base.
- Walk around it until the repair prompt activates and the Repair button turns yellow.
- Hold the interact key to repair. The process takes a few seconds, so stay alert. Once the progress bar completes, the antenna powers back up, and Shani will confirm your success.
With that, the Off the Radar mission ends the moment the repair is done, and you don’t have to extract for it to count. You can exit the zone however you like. If the area is clear, go ahead and make a normal extraction call. But if the noise of your climb or the repair drew attention, duck behind the Depot or nearby terrain until things settle down.
Off the Radar Quest Rewards
- 2× Remote Raider Flares – use these to call in assistance or mark positions in future missions.
- Black (Hiker Color) Backpack – a new cosmetic variant to style your early gear set.
Beyond the rewards, completing this mission teaches you about Field Depots and gives knowledge that pays off later in Shani’s next quest, “Down to Earth,” which reuses the same structures for a loot task.
