ARC Raiders Launch Tower Loot Guide: All Fuel Cells Locations

Find out how to find industrial batteries, power the generator, and loot the top of the towers.

Launch Tower Loot is one of the highest–value map conditions on Spaceport in ARC Raiders. You can only reach the top of the Launch Towers once the generator at the base is powered, which won’t turn on without a fuel cell, and these cells only spawn during this event in a tight space around the towers. This guide explains everything about the Launch Tower Loot event, fuel cell locations, and how to get to the top of the tower to collect all the valuable loot.

ARC Raiders Launch Tower Loot Event

When the Launch Tower Loot condition activates (appears on the Play menu when its tile glows yellow), Spaceport turns into a different map. ARC forces leave their normal patrol routes and collapse around the Launch Towers structures in the center of the map. You will expect more Rocketeers flying over the upper platforms, Wasps and Hornets drifting around the walkways, and a handful of Leapers guarding the tunnel mouths.

The only way to reach the top is by restoring power to the four ziplines—two on each tower side. With the power off, the zipline doors remain sealed, and when you turn on the power, the tower becomes a short vertical looting spree loaded with teal lockers, crates, and potential purple/gold drops. However, you need a single Industrial Battery fuel cell to activate the generator.

All Fuel Cell Spawn Locations in ARC Raiders

When Launch Tower Loot is active, fuel cells only spawn around the twin towers, not across the map. There are seven or eight spots to check for the cells, which are marked in the image below.

ARC Raiders all fuel cells spawn locations marked on the Spaceport map.

  • Tunnel Entrances: Around the base of the Launch Tower, there are some tunnel mouths (or entryways) that descend into short underground hallways. These spots are the most common locations for fuel cells, where you can find one on the ground beside the entrance.
  • Tube Structures / Domes: Two large pod-shaped fuel containers are located near the tower on opposite sides. Fuel cells can be found beside these domes, usually leaning against the curved base.
  • Inside Tunnel Lips: Some players have found cells just inside the tunnel threshold, neither completely within the hallway, nor fully outdoors. Check both sides of every entrance.
  • Dropped Near the Generator: If another squad has already picked the fuel cell and been killed by ARCs, you may find a battery lying near the generator room inside the tower. Always clear the inner power area before assuming it hasn’t spawned.
  • Teal Locker Spawns: There are many teal lockers at the tower base that can contain a battery. These aren’t guaranteed, but worth checking if you haven’t found any at the obvious spawns.

Once you find a cell, the run back to the tower begins. Carrying a fuel cell slows your movement speed and disables your weapon slot, so you essentially walk around holding a “please shoot me” sign. Because of this, many players during the event are usually more cooperative, as everybody wants the tower open, and the ARCs are already enough threat without PvP.

Still, be careful; a Rocketeer at the wrong time can erase your entire plan. Clear Wasps above you before you lift the cell, and scan for Leapers near the tunnel you just checked. When you’re sure the area is clear, pick the cell and walk it straight into the tower via either front or back entrance.

How to Power the Generator to Reach the Launch Towers’ Top

ARC Raiders - Insert fuel cell into generator

Go to the ground floor of the tower, and approach the generator inside the room near the locked zipline door. The slot to place the battery is on the side, marked by a rectangular socket, and glows blue. Insert the fuel cell when prompted, then look for the interaction panel on the generator’s control box.

Press E when the ‘Interact‘ prompt appears to activate the power to bring the tower systems online. Activating the generator immediately slides open the metal shutters at the base of the ziplines. All players—friendly or not—now have access. You’ll hear the doors clank open, and a green indicator lights up.

ARC Raiders - Tower zipline going to the top

Each tower has two ziplines on its side, and once they’re active, they will take you to the top directly into the loot rooms, which wrap around the tower structure and contain crates (often blue or purple tier), lockers, teal containers, and occasional big loot nodes.

ARC Raiders - rooftop path from one tower to another tower

There is a rooftop path that leads across to the other tower roof. If another squad already powered the opposite generator, you can move between them; otherwise, find the other’s zipline door closed. Before you loot on the rooftop, take down all ARCs, including the Rocketeer roaming there. Once done, collect all items on both sides of the tower. There are even two panels that can be activated to unlock bonus containers, so check every platform.
