ARC Raiders Eyes in the Sky Quest Guide

Place scanners topside at the highest points across different maps.

Eyes in the Sky is an ARC Raiders quest from Shani that has you scaling the tallest high points across three different maps to install LiDAR Scanners. These devices monitor ground tremors and ARC activity to give your crew better intel on what’s happening across the Rust Belt. The quest spans three maps, so it can’t be finished in a single raid, and each location comes with its own risks. Here’s how to complete Eyes in the Sky in ARC Raiders.

You’ll be placing one scanner per map across three separate runs. Shani provides you with a zipline at the start, which you’ll need for the Buried City objective. Keep the zipline in your Safe Pocket so you don’t lose it if things go sideways in a raid.

How to Install the LiDAR Scanner on the Control Tower in Dam Battlegrounds

control tower map location

Control Tower is found in the southern part of Dam Battlegrounds, just southeast of Primary Facility. This location usually draws other Raiders because of the rare loot spawns, so stay alert.

Enter through the main entrance and take the left corridor. You’ll pass by the locked Dam Staff Room Door—keep moving past it. When you reach a junction, turn right and continue the walkway until you find a breachable door. Crack it open to find an elevator shaft with a zipline.

Control tower zipline shaft

There is a Turret above in the shaft that will shred you if you ride the zipline. You can either shoot it first from below before taking the zipline or move up quickly and destroy it on your way. You can also leave the ARC active as a defensive measure against enemy Raiders who follow you up.

After leaving the zip at the top, follow the corridor through the staircases and breach the door to exit outside on the rooftop. The LiDAR tripod is placed in the left corner of the roof. Interact with it to place the first LiDAR Scanner, then escape however you see fit.

The Spaceport location is the easiest of the three. Go to the Communications Tower north of Service Buildings on the eastern side of the map. The structure is tall and metallic, with a yellow ladder attached to its side. Climb the ladder all the way up until you reach the platform above.

You’ll find the tripod on the right of the platform. Place the scanner, and you’re done with this leg of the quest. You will be exposed to the Raiders, but the climb is quick.

How to Install the LiDAR Scanner on the Galleria Sign in Buried City

The final scanner can be found on top of the Galleria sign in Buried City, and for this one, you must bring a zipline into the raid. The Galleria is easy to find on the map by its massive pillar with a circular symbol on top. Make your way to the rooftop of the building. From there, move toward the southern end of the roof. Use small walkways and wooden planks to jump across toward the base of the tall pillar with the sign.

zipline up to tall tower

Now, aim your zipline up at the circular walkway near the top of the sign pillar. Move up, but be careful with the landing, not to slip off and fall.

At the top, the final tripod is placed right along the walkway. Interact with it to install the last LiDAR Scanner and complete the ARC Raiders’ Eyes in the Sky quest.
