In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Nintendo has introduced something new in the map known as Depths. These are dark and mysterious underground areas with no sunlight to shine the environment and no sky on the head. But it’s a current part of the game and like many other players, you wouldn’t think about missing the chance to explore these locations. To go to the Depths in TotK, you have to use the special access points on the ground which are known as Chasms and this guide tells you the one such Forest of Time Chasm location in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

How to Find Forest of Time Chasm in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The Forest of Time Chasm is situated in the southeastern part of the map at the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower’s northwest, nestled between the East Post Ruins and the Outpost Ruins. Just a little of the northeastern side of it and closer to East Post Ruins, there is the Proxim Bridge which is a major point to reach this spot. To make it more easy, head over to these coordinates to get to the exact location: -0128, -1658, -0032.

There are a couple of ways to approach the Forest of Time Chasm in Zelda ToTK:

1. Skyview Tower Launch: The most exciting route is by launching from Hyrule Field Skyview Tower. Step onto the launchpad, soar into the air, and fly towards the southeast to reach the chasm, make sure to have enough stamina.

2. Fast Travel to Kamizun Shrine: For a more relaxed and ground approach, fast travel to Kamizun Shrine, just a stone’s throw north of the chasm. From there, it’s an easy walk south to the entrance.

When you arrive, you’ll notice it’s dark inside the chasm. Look for a Lightroot close by; interacting with it will brighten up the area, helping you see where you’re going and spot other interesting Underdark areas. Also be ready for some tough encounters, as the area is crawling with Bokoblins and Yiga clan members.

Given the tricky conditions and tough enemies, it’s smart to pack plenty of Brightbloom Seeds—especially the Giant versions, which are great for lighting up dark spaces. Also, make sure you’re well-equipped with some strong weapons to fend off any dangers. This should get you well on your way to exploring the Forest of Time Chasm with confidence and excitement.
