The Anvil is one of the powerful weapons in ARC Raiders that gives you a lot of favor in firefights. It’s a heavy-caliber hand cannon that hits very hard, punches through ARC armor, and shreds anything that dares get in its way. But getting your hands on the Anvil Blueprint isn’t easy because it not a guaranteed drop, and the RNG behind it can drive you a bit mad in the middle of a raid. However, a few reliable spots have the best odds to get the Anvil Blueprint in ARC Raiders.
What is the Anvil in ARC Raiders

The Anvil is a slow-fire revolver-style pistol that deals 40 base damage and has excellent armor penetration. It’s a good weapon to burst down armored ARCs or end battles quickly with precise shots. Once you’ve collected its blueprint, you can craft it at your Gunsmith Level 2 bench using 5 Mechanical Components and 6 Simple Gun Parts—much better than shelling out 15,000 Raider Coins to buy one.
If you have the blueprint, you can keep creating new copies even after one breaks, which is a big plus point for long-term progression. The Anvil’s durability drops over time, but you can repair or remake it.
ARC Raiders Anvil Blueprint Locations
There’s no fixed spawn for the Anvil Blueprint, but thanks to shared locations from the community and consistent loot patterns, a few areas have a higher spawn rate. The loot pool is randomized within human containers—lockers, raider caches, boxes, and cases—but not in ARC containers.
Under the Broken Highway –Dam Battlegrounds
Quick tip: In this place there is 100% of chance of spawning a special container

One location with random loot on every run, discovered by Redditor Cheap-Protection6372, is underneath the highway at its end on the Dam Battlegrounds. The exact spot is between Raider Outpost East and East Broken Bridge. Look for a gap below where the highway ends to see a raider cache spawn point.
This container can drop multiple blueprints including Anvil, Bettina, and other weapons. It’s also a quiet area—few ARCs patrol the area, so a solo visit won’t be a problem. To get there, either climb up through the nearby zipline or drop down from the highway and grab the ledge on your fall to cushion the landing.
Research and Admin Wing – Dam Battlegrounds
Anvil Blueprint can also be found around the Research and Admin sector of the Dam during Night Raids. Night sessions usually have double loot modifiers, which increase your chance to encounter purple-tier items and rare blueprints like the Anvil. Check lockers, desks, and gun cases in the admin offices; you can get many blueprints from red lockers inside the buildings. The Anvil has appeared here as standard loot and as a Trials reward.
Pipeline Tower and Dam Treatment Facility – Dam Battlegrounds
If you push northeast from the broken dam section, there’s a Pipeline Tower and a tilted building nearby where players have occasionally found Anvil blueprints. The tower mostly hides duffels and raider cases that players overlook in early-game runs. Behind the Dam Treatment Facility, there’s a locked door room that can also spawn high-level loot, including Anvil and Venator blueprints. Since the room is locked, you need a keycard to open it, but worth a visit.
Marano Station – Buried City Map
If you prefer calm looting runs, head to Marano Station in the Buried City map. This outskirt location usually has two or three high-rarity caches with a decent chance of weapon blueprints inside. But you’ll have to breach a locked door, which makes plenty of noise and draws attention. On smaller maps like Buried City, you’ll want to clear or scout the area before you press the breach key. Here, you can randomly find an Anvil blueprint from the raider containers.
Loot Containers with the Best Anvil Spawn Rates
Since blueprints can spawn anywhere human loot exists, you need to know which containers have higher-tier loot pools:
- Red Lockers – These are usually found inside buildings and offices and are prime blueprint spots.
- Raider Caches – These are small metal cases half-buried in debris that emit a faint ticking sound when close.
- Weapon Cases and Lockboxes – Typically inside or near objective zones, sometimes house prebuilt weapons or blueprints.
The point is, if it looks human-made, loot it. A few players said they found blueprints in suitcases and office desks, which proves nothing is too mundane to check.
Even if you have found the rarest blueprint in ARC Raiders, it’s only half the job, and the other half is to extract safely with it. You should store it in a Safe Pocket augment so you won’t lose it on death. Once extracted alive, open your inventory, select the blueprint, and choose Learn to unlock it permanently. If you get multiple blueprints, you can sell extra for 5,000 Raider Coins each, which is a solid payout for repeat drops. You can’t learn one blueprint more than once, so it’s better to sell extras.
How to Craft the Anvil at the Gunsmith
Once you’ve learned the Anvil blueprint, you can craft the Anvil I from your Gunsmith Level 2 workbench. Here’s what you need for the recipe:
- 5 × Mechanical Components – You can get these by breaking down weapons or looting industrial containers.
- 6 × Simple Gun Parts – These can be found in basic gearboxes or refiner outputs
Once crafted, you can upgrade the Anvil through multiple tiers using Heavy Gun Parts for maximum damage, quick fire rate, and better weapon handling.
