How to Complete Winter Rush Quests in Fortnite

Winter Rush is Fortnite’s latest limited event, and the way to unlock the Cuddle Team Rider skin and a full set of themed cosmetics for free. All nine rewards are earned by completing Winter Rush quests, most of which revolve around earning XP in specific modes while in a party. The quests release daily, some appear only on certain platforms, and none can be completed solo. If you want every reward before the event ends on November 29 at 2 PM ET, here’s exactly how the Winter Rush works and how to finish every quest type to claim the free rewards.

How to Complete Fortnite Winter Rush Quests

Winter Rush splits its quests into three categories:

By Epic game modes
Creator-Made islands
Mobile-only quests

Most quests task you to earn 80,000 XP in a specific mode category while in a party. Each quest counts once, and you’ll get a new one every day until the pool is exhausted. If the quests won’t show for you, switch platforms if possible, and they will likely appear by logging in on PC or mobile.

These quests drop you into official Fortnite playlists. Every single one only cares about XP—you don’t need to win, survive long, or complete special tasks.

Creator-Made Winter Rush Quests

Creator-Made quests ask you to earn XP on islands built by other players. Fortnite does a good job marking which islands to head to for each category, but the search bar is a useful tool here.

Mobile Winter Rush Quests

These are the quests many players miss because they don’t appear on console or PC. If you’ve cleared everything on your main platform but are still missing the quest count, this is probably why.

Earn XP in a party while playing Fortnite Mobile

You don’t need to grind XP on mobile, it’s enough for it to register progression. If you don’t usually play on your phone, you can install the mobile version, invite one or more friends, and enter an easy mode like Rocket Racing to get some XP.
