Springfield will become the next chaotic drop spot in Fortnite Battle Royale. According to fresh leaks, The Simpsons crossover is bringing with it a full Springfield map, multiple character skins, and a mini Battle Pass themed around the long-running animated classic.

The leaks first surfaced this week from some well-known Fortnite data miners, who revealed files referencing “Fortnite x The Simpsons Questline” and “Springfield Island.” Screenshots and early renders give a glimpse of an impressively detailed re-creation of the iconic town, including landmarks like 742 Evergreen Terrace, the Kwik-E-Mart, Moe’s Tavern, Krusty Burger, and the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. Everything looks almost Simpsons but stylized to fit Fortnite’s bright, cel-shaded world.

According to @blortzen and @FNBRintel, the collaboration goes well beyond a few character outfits. There is an expected mini Battle Pass featuring five main characters — Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Mr. Burns — each with unique alternate styles. For example, Bart reportedly has a “Skateboarder” skin with a trick animation, while Homer has a “Donut Devourer” reactive outfit that changes the more eliminations you score.
The leaked cosmetic bundle includes the Donut Glider, Duff Beer Back Bling, an Itchy & Scratchy pickaxe, and a Krusty the Clown loading screen. Further, the leak suggests that there will be a Treehouse of Horror limited-time mode, which will have spooky Springfield twists like zombie Flanders or Kang and Kodos flying UFOs over the map.
The interesting part of all leaked details is the Springfield map itself, which will likely be a self-contained mini island, similar to past crossovers like LEGO Fortnite or Star Wars: Tatooine. Leakers describe it as having unique POIs — the Power Plant, Krustyland amusement park, and the Simpson family home among them, with interactive Easter eggs and themed challenges. Players will reportedly complete quests to unlock special cosmetics, XP farms, and in-game rewards.
Still, these are only leaks and can only be taken with a grain of salt. Epic Games hasn’t confirmed any details officially, but the event files are for Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3, which will be the game’s next major update expected later this fall. Given the size of the assets uncovered, this seems one of the most ambitious pop-culture collaborations since Fortnite x Marvel.
So if the leaks hold, get ready for soon to come Springfield, once the The Simpsons-themed Fortnite season goes live on November 1. You might be shooting it out by Moe’s Tavern, racing through Krustyland, or skydiving past the Power Plant while Homer Simpson yells “D’oh!” when you miss your shots.
