Capcom is swinging hard going into Year 3 of Street Fighter 6, and they’ve officially dropped the curtain on the next round of DLC fighters during this year’s Summer Game Fest. The full Season 3 lineup includes a mix of heavy-hitters, long-lost fan-favorites, and one character that might have you asking, “Wait, who?”
Revealed in a trailer starring pro wrestler Kenny Omega cosplaying as every fighter, Capcom confirmed that Sagat, C. Viper, Alex, and Ingrid will be joining the Street Fighter 6 roster over the next year. If nothing else, this lineup makes one thing clear: Capcom still refuses to let the Street Fighter timeline breathe.
- Sagat – Summer 2025
- C. Viper – Fall 2025
- Alex – Early Spring 2026
- Ingrid – Late Spring 2026
Sagat, the original boss of the first Street Fighter game is back with a bigger, meaner look and dressed like he’s just hunted the tiger from Apocalypse Now. His iconic Tiger Shots, Tiger Knee, and Tiger Uppercut all return, along with new knee-based attacks that’ll make zoning specialists weep with joy. Capcom also teased a redesigned stage inspired by Sagat’s classic Thailand arena.
Crimson Viper has been MIA since Street Fighter IV. If you forgot about her, she is the suit-wearing spy mom with fire, electricity, and a love for high-tech gadgets. Known for her intense high/low mix-ups and demanding execution, she’s the choice for players who like to hit buttons intelligently. Expect her return in Fall 2025, right in time to ruin your ranked win streak.
Alex is finally coming home, again. The Street Fighter III protagonist and part-time WWE audition tape returns, now with a rugged biker look and what appears to be face paint. He brings heavy slams and pro-wrestling bravado, combining raw power with high mobility—what happens when Zangief gets a personality. Capcom fans have long questioned why Alex wasn’t in SF6 at launch, especially since this is the first game set after Street Fighter III.
Ingrid, the wildcard pick that’s guaranteed to confuse half the audience and thrill the other half. Originally from Capcom Fighting Evolution and almost from the canceled Capcom Fighting All-Stars, Ingrid is something of a meme among fans, mainly because she has rarely appeared in actual Street Fighter games.
Her appearance in Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max was brief, but enough to spark curiosity. She uses a unique energy-based power not tied to Psycho or Soul Power, which could make her a weird and potentially broken addition to the cast. Her release in late Spring 2026 will likely mark the most niche drop the series has seen in years.

The announcement trailer leaned hard into absurdity with AEW’s Kenny Omega dressing up as every new fighter including C. Viper, Ingrid, Sagat, and Alex. It’s not the first time Capcom’s used Omega in their promos, but it might be the most committed he has been to the bit. It was goofy, over-the-top, and it worked.
Capcom could’ve just coasted after Elena wrapped up Season 2, but instead, they released an entire year’s worth of content in one go and it’s hard to complain. Sagat alone could carry a season, C. Viper and Alex are both strong nostalgia plays, and Ingrid is certainly a bold choice. With one eye on the past and another on the weird corners of the Street Fighter franchise, Season 3 looks like going to be a wild ride.
