To survive the toughest environment of the Lands Between, your FP matters a lot in Elden Ring. Although Mind points are helpful, sometimes what you need is some magical padding without burning a level-up. That’s where the Cerulean Amber Medallion +2 comes in, a talisman that increases your maximum FP and buys you extra time to cast out the spells or put your weapons to work. But it can be hard to get your hands on Cerulean Amber Medallion +2 in Elden Ring, so here’s where to find it and know how much it’s worth to get your time and focus.
What Does the Cerulean Amber Medallion +2 Do?
All versions of Cerulean Amber Medallion Talisman expand your FP pool, and the +2 version boosts it by 11%. That means the more Mind you invest in it, the more it pays off. For Mages, Sorcerers, and Hybrid builds to throw out spells like candy, this talisman is a no-brainer.
Its base variants give a small increase (7% and 9%), and Cerulean Amber Medallion +3 is introduced in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC that raises maximum FP by 12.5%. But the +2 version is still powerful for the main Elden Ring and even useful late into the DLC in case of a tight FP budget. But you can’t stack multiple versions of this medallion. Equip one, and that’s your boost.
Elden Ring Cerulean Amber Medallion +2 Location

To obtain the Cerulean Amber Medallion +2 talisman, you’ll need to go to a late-game area, Lunar Estate Ruins, located at Moonlight Altar Plateau in southern Liurnia. But the area is locked behind progress in Ranni’s questline, which involves the Ainsel River, Lake of Rot, and Nokstella.
Once you’ve finished her storyline and unlocked Moonlight Altar (via the Deep Ainsel Well), find the Lunar Estate Ruins south of the Cathedral of Manus Celes. The medallion is in a sealed underground chamber. There’s an Imp Statue guarding a wall which you need to unlock with the Stonesword Key. Even once it’s open to visit, the staircase leading down is concealed by an illusory floor. Smack the ground near the Imp Statue to reveal the stairs, head down, and open the chest to get Cerulean Amber Medallion +2.
Is It Worth Equipping?
For a Faith or Intelligence based character, this talisman is a must-have. It gives enough breathing room to chain together more Elden Ring Incantations or sorceries before guzzling a Flask of Cerulean Tears. Further, Cerulean Amber Medallion +2 is for glass cannon builds, and even better to extend burst windows such as Comet Azur or Elden Stars.
If 40–50+ points are sunk into Mind, you might hit diminishing returns with this talisman. In that case, swap it out for something to increase direct damage like Magic Scorpion Charm or Graven-Mass Talisman. Also, consider it situational because not every encounter is a marathon.
The Cerulean Amber Medallion +2 is one of the rare pieces of gear that frees up your playstyle. It’s not aggressive or powerful, but it allows you to stretch your spellcasting legs longer and makes Mind more valuable. In Elden Ring where running out of FP mid-fight can get you killed faster than a parry attempt on Malenia, that matters.
