ARC Raiders loves making you hunt for junk you might have ignored since the first raid. First it was toasters, now it’s humidifiers. To complete Stage 4 of the Caravan Expedition Project, you need 5 humidifiers, and of course, when you need them, they vanish from the face of the earth.
Stop checking every random shelf. There’s a specific spot that spawns the items almost every run, so you can stop hoarding trash and get back to the game. Here are all the humidifier locations in ARC Raiders, including one that’s as close to a guaranteed drop as you get in this game.
How to Find Humidifiers in ARC Raiders
Humidifiers can spawn in Residential areas, but I haven’t had much luck finding them there. Skip the blind search and head straight to these places where they drop in high percentages.
Buried City
There is a specific loot spawn in Buried City that almost always drops humidifiers, and it’s been the go-to farming spot for anyone in the know. Head to the Red Tower towards the southern part of the map, located just northeast of the Plaza Rosa and east of the Santa Maria Houses.
Once at the Red Tower, take the stairs from the ground entrance to get to the second floor. If coming from the south, you can either climb the ledge by the metro entrance or walk along the outside until you see a hole in the wall to drop down. Inside, opposite the stairwell, you will find a couple of Red Lockers, one of which has a near-guaranteed humidifier spawn. There’s also a Security Breach locker worth checking, and since it’s a Residential area, the nearby drawers and cabinets can occasionally yield extras too.
The Metro Station extract point is right outside the building. You can grab the loot, jump down the stairs or escalator, and extract in under a minute. Best for speed runs with a free loadout, but use a Standard loadout to secure the item in the Safe Pocket so you don’t lose it even if being camped.
If you find the tower already looted, check the Space Travel building lockers or loot around Plaza Rosa. Generally, any area flagged as “Residential” on the map has a chance to drop humidifiers, but the odds are marginally lower than those of the tower.
Dam Battlegrounds
If the Buried City is too hot or looted, try your luck in Dam Battlegrounds. This map is usually less contested for these item types, but you have to know where to look. Visit the Pale Apartments or Ruby Residence on the northwest edge of the map. These areas don’t have the high-guaranteed drop rates of Red Tower, but raiders rarely visit these spots, which means more loot to grab.
Check the kitchens and bedrooms. Humidifiers can be found in cupboards and cabinets, but don’t ignore the random side rooms—loot the shelves and drawers there too. The best way is to clear both apartment blocks in one go, so you are likely to walk away with at least two pieces. Some players claim Night Raids give better luck; there’s no hard proof that the item hunt gets better, but it’s worth a shot if the RNG isn’t going your way.
Item Value and Recycling
Keep any leftover Humidifiers after finishing the Expedition Project; they’re worth stocking if you can spare a little stash space. A humidifier is a Rare Recyclable, and can sell for 1,000 Coins, but the real value is usually in the scrap. Recycling one gives you 2x Canisters and 2x Wires, which are always good to have in stockpile.
