Although beating enemies with Iron Man or freezing foes as Storm in Marvel Rivals is fun on its own, nothing beats flexing on the battlefield with a fresh skin, especially when that skin is free. Marvel Rivals content has been expanding continuously with the inclusion of new heroes, events, and skins every season and some of these skins arrive as free rewards. One of the latest good additions in Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 is the Future Foundation Human Torch skin, part of the iconic white-and-black Fantastic Four suit lineup and thankfully, it’s free to grab.
What is the Future Foundation Human Torch Skin?
The Future Foundation skin gives Johnny Storm a nice new look based on his time in the Future Foundation—a team formed by the Fantastic Four after the death of the Human Torch in the comics. The outfit trades in his traditional red and orange flame motifs for a futuristic monochrome design.
In-game, the skin even allows you to toggle between a white and black color scheme, adding extra flair for fans who like to customize their visuals even further. Other members of the Fantastic Four, including Invisible Woman and The Thing, have matching Future Foundation skins, but these are only available through paid bundles. So, Human Torch’s version is the only one currently free in the set but only for a limited time.
How to Get the Future Foundation Human Torch Skin in Marvel Rivals
Future Foundation Human Torch skin is available through the in-game event Venom’s Bubble Pop, which runs from June 19 to July 11. If you’re familiar with Marvel Rivals’ Combat Chest or Battle Pass-style content, this event is pretty familiar. The event includes both a Free Track and a Premium Track, and you’ll need to grind your way up through seven tiers to unlock all the rewards. The Future Foundation Human Torch skin is available at Level 7 of the Free Track.
Though you can’t simply go through it all in one night. Venom’s Bubble Pop event progress involves completing specific daily missions, and only one challenge unlocks in a single day. So, to reach Level 7 and unlock the Human Torch skin, you’ll need to log in and play at least seven days during the event.
The first mission tasks you to deal 30,000 damage in Quick Match, Competitive Play, or Practice vs AI. The remaining objectives become playable one at a time as the days pass, and all revolve around engaging in different match types and dealing damage.
If you want to grind through all seven levels for Human Torch, you might as well know what other rewards you’ll collect along the way.
Free Track Rewards:
- Cold Kiss Spray – Level 1
- Future Foundation Spray & Nameplate – Level 2
- Future Foundation Nameplate – Level 3
- “Jeff’s New Kicks” Emote – Level 4
- My Baby and Me Nameplate – Level 5
- Identity Overhaul Emote (Human Torch) – Level 6
- Future Foundation Human Torch Costume (final reward) – Level 7
Premium Track (Paid) Rewards:
By spending Lattice, the Premium Track offers more stuff including:
- Venom “Pink Bubble” Costume – Level 1
- Venom-themed Emojis – Level 2
- Pink Bubble Nameplate – Level 3
- Venom-themed Emojis – Level 4
- Pink Bubble Spray – Level 5
- Tickle Me Pink Venom Emote – Level 6
- Costume Coin – Level 7
Even if you buy into the Premium version, you will have access to the track rewards beyond the event window. So if you fall behind, you can still complete all unlocks after July 11 but only with Premium. Free players don’t get that choice, so you must play the event regularly. As we already mentioned, the Bubble Pop event will end on July 11, and you only have a chance until then to earn the Future Foundation Human Torch skin for free. After that, we don’t know if it’ll ever return in a future event or appear in-game store for purchase.
