During an interview with IGN, Bethesda member and Starfield director Todd Howard stated the United Colonies’ capital city of New Atlantis is more significant than any other city the company has made in its previous titles, including Skyrim and Fallout 4.
After Starfield’s gameplay premiere at the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase, fans got a sneak peek at New Atlantis. Howard explained, “It has all the services you would expect, and you can work on your ship there; the factions touch that.”
For the 30-to-40-hour campaign, you should anticipate returning to New Atlantis a lot. Generally speaking, New Atlantis will be the starting point for many side missions, and it is the capital of the United Colonies faction.
The director announced there would be thousands of planets to discover. Further, he said, the title will feature numerous customization choices, such as Star Wars and dogfighting in space.
No doubt, we have gathered a decent amount of details from the new trailer, but gamers are still guessing about whether the entire Universe will feature prominently in the game itself. Although Starfield has yet to be released, speculation and analysis about the game will continue until then.
