In Star Wars Outlaws, some items are hidden behind puzzles, challenges, and some exploration. The HD05-G Circuit is one of those items and it’s required to upgrade your Blaster. Finding it involves more than just following waypoints; you will have to solve the puzzle, use your surroundings, and rely on trusty Nix to get access to the unlocked area containing the circuit. This guide tells you where to find the HD05-G Circuit in Star Wars Outlaws and how to access its location.
HD05-G Circuit Location in Star Wars Outlaws
First, you need to know where you have to go to get this circuit. The HD05-G Circuit is kept by the smugglers in a Smuggler’s Hideout in the Lost Steppe on Toshara, specifically west of Shipjacker Workshop. You’ll need to head to the mountain area on the east side of the map, so get your speeder ready. Make sure you’ve unlocked the Speeder Boost ability—without it, you’re just going to look silly trying to jump over the massive gap blocking your way. It unlocks automatically after completing the first Mechanic Expert quest, so if you haven’t done that yet, get on it.
You will have to speed jump from the orange rock ramp. I took a deep breath, hit the speed boost, and prayed I’d make the jump across the gap (I did, but not without a close call!). Once you make it to the other side using the Speeder boost, move forward by climbing the ledges.
You will find some handy materials like Durasteel and Coarseweave at the mountaintop, it’s better to pick them up than skipping because they’re going to be useful later. Next, smash the rocky barrier with the Blaster’s Power Mode to clear the way and go further. You’ll now have to go through a narrow gap, jump across another gap, and go toward the left.
Climb the ledge and you will see the fan ahead. Destroy the rock with Blaster to reveal the power circuit controlling the fans. After that, go past the fan to reach the HD05-G Circuit location. But the door to the hideout is locked and requires you to solve the fan puzzle.
How to Solve the Puzzle to Unlock Smugglers Hideout Door
You can see that there are three red lights at the door’s top with the three different cables coming from the door’s system linked to the fans. To open it, you need to turn all red lights into green to turn on the power by activating all three fans.
First Fan: The first fan is off to your right. There are two levers on the left and right of the fan and you have to pull them at the same time. Hold one by yourself and command Nix to pull the other one. Only by holding both of them simultaneously will power up the fan. One the first one done, two to go.
Second Fan: Follow the left cable from the door to find this fan. This is where Nix saves the day again. Command him to press the button inside by going through the fan’s gap to activate the second fan.
Third Fan: Go down the path to your right to reach this fan connected to the middle cable. A rock is stuck inside the fan preventing it from spinning. Smash the rock and the fan will start working again.
Once all three fans are activated, the lights above the door will turn green, and the door will unlock. Congratulations—you’ve just completed the challenge. Head inside and collect your hard-earned reward: the HD05-G Circuit, along with some other valuable loot. In Star Wars Outlaws, the HD05-G Circuit is a Blaster key part required for the upgrade. It improves the Ion Burst mode to ramp up your firepower. So, all that fan-activating, rock-blasting action? Worth it for the power boost you’ll get.
