The Sims 4 is about to get a whole lot more hoofed fun, as leaks have confirmed that horses are finally trotting their way into the game. Leaks have confirmed that horses, last seen in the Sims 3’s Pets expansion in 2011, are making a triumphant return.

The official Sims Twitter account has been dropping hints left and right, sharing a Western-themed video that suggests a new expansion is on its way. The video invites players to “take the reins” and teases “good news coming soon”. More than that, a trailer is coming on Thursday morning.

However, that’s not the end of the fun. Leaks from the game’s community page and Reddit have unveiled screenshots and cover art showcasing horses and ranch scenes in a western desert setting. But horses aren’t the only new addition. Additionally, this upgrade will bring back nectar making, which was last included in The Sims 3, and the ability to breed mini lambs and mini goats for your Sims to eat.

Just like the fur-tastic Cats and Dogs expansion, the upcoming horse update in the Sims 4 is going to give the options to customize your horses in Create A Sim, giving you the power to create your dream steed. But that’s not all, folks! You can also rescue horses, buy them, or even breed them from the horses you already have on your ranch.

The official trailer for this epic expansion is set to unveil at 10 AM PT on June 22. And the best part? You won’t have to wait long to start your equestrian escapade! According to the leaked content, the expansion is galloping its way to a release on July 20 on all platforms.
