Ark: Ultimate Survivor Edition, which includes the starter edition and many DLC, will be released for the Nintendo in September. Nintendo’s hybrid game system will feature the Scorched Earth, Aberrations, Extinction, and both Genesis pieces in a $50 bundle when it launches.
Ark’s normal Switch version users will get a new experience with improved features, visuals, and performance. According to reports, this Ark: Ultimate Survivor Edition will be led by a third-party developer recruited by Ark developer Studio Wildcard. For this reason, Unreal Engine 4 is being used for the game’s Switch code, which has been completely rewritten.
The older players don’t need to worry because the new update will not affect their previous saved progress.
Developer Studio Wildcard’s co-founder Jesse Rapczak said, “Revamping Ark game on the Nintendo Switch has been on our mind for some time, and we’re thrilled to have discovered a brilliant team that can let us accomplish that goal.”
Vin Diesel will reprise his role as a dinosaur hunter in the highly anticipated sequel to the Ark action-adventure video game. A new animated series based on the game is also in production. On top of being the face of Santiago, the Fast & Furious star will also serve as an executive producer for the title.
Ark: Survival Evolved is presently playable on PC and Xbox platforms via the Xbox Game Pass subscription program and on PlayStation.
