Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse will Arrive on Nintendo Switch in Early 2023

Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse has finally been revealed in today’s Nintendo Direct Livestream eventually appear in the West and will be released in the first part of 2023 on Nintendo Switch. The game was first produced by Koei Tecmo for Wii in 2008 and was only restricted to Japan.

But today, we have received the announcement for the global version. This survival and horror game is going to be the fourth edition in the lineup and will let the players showcase their photography prowess. During the game, you will find yourself on Rougetsu Island which is a fictional location.

The protagonist of this story, Ruka Minazuki, investigates a deserted hospital in pursuit of her forgotten past before inexplicably vanishing as a young child. Naturally, there are many undesirables in the hospital, but the camera obscura—a staple of Fatal Frame—can keep them at bay.

Players will have to delve into the island’s sinister history while playing as the leading character Ruka Minazuki alongside many others. The land is home to supernatural beings.
