New Cyberpunk 2077 Update: Adds Transmog, Weapon, Quests and Arcade

By GamesRecon

The new Cyberpunk 2077 update is available for now – the transmog system, latest quests, and several Easter eggs connecting to the amazingly Edgerunners anime series are all included in this recent 1.6 patch. The Xbox One and PS4 update that just went live is the final one. All subsequent updates will roll out for the Xbox Series X/S, PC, PS5, Windows PC, and Google Stadia. Albeit minor patches for Xbox One and PS4 will be released to keep the game running.

The latest episode of Night City Wire from CD Projekt RED revealed Patch 1.6 for Cyberpunk 2077. With inspiration from the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, which is coming up, the jacket features Martinez’s signature and a brand new weapon inspired by the animated series. Although V won’t be satisfying the anime’s main character, Easter eggs should still be present.

The update adds a new Xbox Series S Mode, transmog so players can change their appearance without changing their equipment, and additional cosmetic customizations. Body and facial contours are also amenable to reshaping with the help of Ripper Docs. Roach Race, a concept from the popular mount of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, is the first ever in-game arcade game.

The Wardrobe transmog system makes it possible to temporarily change your appearance to that of David’s jacket or anyone else without having any gameplay consequences. The latest cosmetics and hairstyles are available, and you can save up to six unique outfits in your Wardrobe slots to make them available across all platforms. Moreover, you can get this game for nothing on your mobile device.
