Although the release of the subsequent follow-up ‘Hollow Knight: Silksong’ may still be far away ahead of the actual launch in 2023, the game is actively adding new platforms. It was previously announced for PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch and is now confirmed that Hollow Knight: Silksong will arrive on PS4 and PS5.
The information is released via the main PlayStation Twitter handle, which is given below:

Sony has announced the game for its consoles as well. Hollow Knight: Silksong will now be accessible on almost every popular gaming system. Xbox Game Pass members will also get the title on the day of its release.
There has been no official word about a release date. Fans have already been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Hollow Knight Silksong. While a launch window for the game has been discussed since the game’s announcement in 2019, it wasn’t till the Xbox & Bethesda event that specific date was given.
The announcement of Team Cherry’s eagerly anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed Hollow Knight hardly requires any excitement. From its very first announcement at E3 2019, this video game has sparked remarkable excitement, even as new details regarding the title have poured out at a relatively gradual pace.
Silksong recounts the story of Hornet, the royal defender of Hallownest, from the initial Hollow Knight, a critically praised indie Metroidvania. The game appears to be staying true to the original’s structure, but with Hornet’s new range of techniques, players should anticipate a greater focus on quickness and depth.
