According to a recent source, Sony Santa Monica will give players a wide range of graphical possibilities in the God of War: Ragnarok PS5 version, including 4K/30 FPS, 60 FPS, and the highly sought-after 120 FPS mode.
Different gameplay modes are now available in the latest video games, including some focusing on aesthetics and accuracy while most concentrate on playing efficiency and fps.

Press Start has reported a 120 FPS mode in Ragnarok for the PS5 edition. That was discovered courtesy of a dissection of the game’s graphic settings.

According to the findings, the following game modes will be available:
- Favor Resolution: 4K/30 FPS Locked
- Favor Performance: 60 FPS Locked
- Favor Resolution (High Frame Rate On): 4K/40 FPS Locked (HDMI 2.1 required)
- Favor Performance (High Frame Rate On): Targeting 120 FPS (HDMI 2.1 required)
The 120 FPS setting requires an HDMI 2.1-compatible display like for all PS5 and Xbox Series games. The 40 FPS mode, specific to HDMI 2.1, is quite comparable to what appeared in The Last of Us Part I, which was released a month earlier.

It’s important to remember that the report stated that the high fps performance mode captures 120 FPS, so it probably won’t reach that standard throughout many graphical intensive moments. You can preorder God of War: Ragnarok right away to get it in advance.
