Since its start, we’ve seen a storm of fantastic games released throughout this year. Although the following few months will not include any major title release, we are very well aware that more interesting storylines will still have to come this year. Even though God of War Ragnarok declared the release date is 2022, nobody is entirely confident if it can meet that deadline.
The developer appears to be stepping back on a previous prediction by journalist Jason Schreier that the planned action game would not be postponed beyond this year. It was confirmed by a representative of SIE Santa Monica’s social and PR team who posted on Twitter that God of War Ragnarok will still be released in 2022. As a result, people who were worried regarding the delay into 2023 now can relax.

The release date for God of War Ragnarok was initially set for 2021. Subsequently, it was reported that Christopher Judge, the actor playing Kratos, underwent treatment, which contributed to the postponement of the title until 2022.
