Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (AS VAL) is a role-playing video game (RPG) that almost connects all the Assassin’s Creed games together as a nexus. It mostly provided references to Assassin’s Creed but focused more on the backstory of the Brotherhood, like the role of the Hidden Ones in the Roman Empire, the history behind the Father of Understanding, and more.
AS VAL requires a fast internet connection, like fiber internet, for the initial download and updates. However, you can play the game offline if you have the game’s physical disk.
God of War Ragnarok
If you’ve played God of War released in 2018, God of War Ragnarok has received positive feedback from players — as much, if not more, as the 2018 reboot, that made it exciting to play. In The Path, a.k.a the main storyline where the players follow Kratos and Atreus, comes with 18 chapters that visit all the realms and fight extremely powerful bosses.
You might find it surprising, but the end credits will start rolling after only 17 chapters. That’s because the last chapter, Beyond Ragnarok, takes on more of an epilogue role, giving completionists the opportunity to circle back to previous areas and tie up any loose ends with the remaining Favours.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
For Uncharted fans, playing Uncharted 4 on PS5 brings a whole new level of excitement to this classic series. Still, you’ll follow Nathan Drake during his adventure through different locations. A Thief’s End is set several years after Drake’s Deception to find the long-lost treasure of Henry Avery. Honestly, the best part about this game, aside from its storyline and gameplay, is the graphics. The game is just stunning on PS5; nothing can compare, really.
Like most PS5 games, Uncharted 4 only needs a speedy internet connection like Dish Internet to download, install, and update the game. After that, you’ll be able to play Uncharted 4 offline as long as the disc is inserted.
Gran Turismo 7
This list wouldn’t be complete without the legendary racing game. Compared to other Gran Turismo games, Gran Turismo 7 is all about completing the GT cafe menu books and collecting all the cars in the game. There are a lot of game modes, like Driving School, Arcade, and more, so it’s suitable for all types of racing gamers (casual, competitive, etc.)
Borderlands 3
Of course, who would miss Borderlands? If you’ve played Borderlands 1 and 2, you’ll surely love Borderlands 3, which comes with a fresh storyline and gameplay. The whole story revolves around four fresh faces, the new recruits for the Crimson Raiders of Pandora. Their mission? To put a stop to the mischievous twins Troy and Tyreen Calypso and their wacky cult crew.
If you’re used to the classic, old-style cartoonish graphics of Borderlands (like the one available on Switch), you’ll probably be surprised by how crisp and detailed the graphics of Borderland 3 are on PS5. It’s definitely a treat for the eyes!
